pokerleague Poker might get its very own professional league soon, at least according to an article from Associated Press that specifies that Annie Duke will be its commissioner. This league will have professional players in it and it will have certain guidelines that need to be followed in order for the players to keep their card. These cards will be given for periods of 2,3 or 5 years. There will also be less than 10 memberships with lifetime periods on them. People like Doyle Brunson will receive these.

Jeffrey Pollack is the co-founder of the Federated Sports and Gambling company, which will organize this league. He will also be the chairman of this league. Two hundred players will get invites to take part in this league, with the invites being given based on formulas which consider money earned, major live events finishes and history in tournaments.
